SASO National Listening Session Registration
The South Asian Screen Office of Canada (SASO) invites South Asian screen storytellers, creators, industry professionals, and screen-sector stakeholders to join us for a series of Listening Sessions taking place across Canada.
These gatherings are part of the SASO National Project: Understanding & Strengthening South Asian Representation in Canada’s Screen Sector — a landmark initiative focused on identifying opportunities, challenges, and pathways for stronger South Asian representation across film and television in Canada.

We want to hear directly from South Asian screen storytellers, creators, industry professionals, and screen-sector stakeholders about their experiences navigating Canada’s screen ecosystem.
We welcome participation from individuals working across film and television, including:
- Scripted and unscripted content
- Drama, comedy, documentary, factual, children’s, and digital-first storytelling
- On-screen talent, behind-the-camera professionals, executives, educators, and emerging creators
